Take a look at the salmon that Sean caught last week - well this is one of them! The other one is in mom's freezer. This was my first attempt at filleting - I think I need a little more practice however. Sean gives all the props to his brother, who hooked the fish in the first place. We think Jeremy should give up his day job and become a guide, really -- he's THAT good!

Nice job, Erin! Filleting is a whole lot harder than it looks; the right knife makes it easier however. (Sorry, forgot to say, "Good job, Sean" also.)
Hi Doreen! Thanks for the compliments...yes, filleting is harder that it looks on the video I watched on YouTube! (I think that guy could have filleted a fish in his sleep, with both hands tied behind his back!) Luckily, I had a great filleting knife from my "Cutco" sales days...I think it's the first time I have ever used it in 13 years!
